SYNOPSIS
With the space program attempting to travel to Mars, 21st-century scientists were tasked with warming up the planet so that humans could survive on its surface. They came up with an efficient and cost-effective plan of sending cockroaches and mold to the surface so that the mold would absorb the sunlight and the insect corpses would serve as a food source for the mold. It is now the year 2577 and the first manned ship to Mars has landed on the planet and the six crew members are ready for their mission. But what they find are giant mutated humanoid cockroaches with incredible physical strength. The crew members are easily wiped out, but not before sending a transmission back to Earth. Now, humanity will send elite warriors to exterminate the mutated bugs and claim back Mars.

LUKE REVIEW:
Terraformars is a rollover coaster of an anime. I’ve never been so hot and then so cold on a show this quickly. What starts out strong ends incredibly middling and, in my opinion, lost. It’s almost as if two-thirds of the way through, the anime starts a new story and moves on from cool characters to uninteresting characters. If the show ended stronger, I could work with a weak and shaky storyline, but as it is, I can’t recommend it in any capacity.
JOEL REVIEW:
Where to even begin on this show. It started off super slow, except for our main character fighting a bear, and then went into everyone being on a death trap in space. This anime is not better than the manga. I personally feel like the anime fell flat and tried to do things that it shouldn’t have tried, or maybe just couldn’t fit all of what it was trying to say into the 13 episodes. Overall this anime has some major ups, Adolf’s story, and some major lows….the rest of it. Truly this show was cool at first and had its moments, and I want to read all the manga, but it was not a good show. I give this a 3/10, I would say read it over watching it 100%.
