DEMON SLAYER S2
SYNOPSIS
With the space program attempting to travel to Mars, 21st-century scientists were tasked with warming up the planet so that humans could survive on its surface. They came up with an efficient and cost-effective plan of sending cockroaches and mold to the surface so that the mold would absorb the sunlight and the insect corpses would serve as a food source for the mold. It is now the year 2577 and the first manned ship to Mars has landed on the planet and the six crew members are ready for their mission. But what they find are giant mutated humanoid cockroaches with incredible physical strength. The crew members are easily wiped out, but not before sending a transmission back to Earth. Now, humanity will send elite warriors to exterminate the mutated bugs and claim back Mars.

LUKE REVIEW:
Season 2 had incredibly high expectations and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve never seen such high quality animation so consistently spread over the course of a show. On top of the gorgeous visuals, you’re introduced to fantastic characters and tragic villains. Season 2 of Demon Slayer only lasts for 11 episodes if we exclude the recap of Mugen Train. It was a short ride, but it still might be the best season of anime to finish this year.

JOEL REVIEW:
Season 2 was all gas and no brakes. After the first episode of getting us hyped and reminding us of our favorite characters we are thrust into the action. The animation is beyond impressive, I have never seen fight/action scenes with this much clarity and passion. The “improvements” on the manga were actually very well done and made the story flow extremely smoothly. My only complaint is that there was not more, only being 11 episodes. Can’t wait for more!
